If you sign up for reminders, we store the information you give us: your email address and any maintenance dates or system details you choose to share (for example, your last pump-out date or tank size). If you enroll through an accepted reminder partner's link, we also store that partner and signup source so the correct reminder experience can be provided. That’s the only personal information we ask for.
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not send marketing on behalf of third parties. Reminder emails may occasionally mention our own guides or a product we recommend, always with our affiliate disclosure policy in effect.
This site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We count page views with a first-party, cookie-less counter: it records the page path, the referring site's domain, and a one-way daily hash used only to estimate visitor counts — never your IP address, name, or anything that identifies you. Standard server logs (IP address, page requested) are kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
We also count outbound product and partner-booking clicks using the same privacy-preserving approach. We store a product or partner key, the Tank & Well page, the day, and a one-way daily visitor hash. Reports shared with reminder partners contain aggregate counts only; partners do not receive subscriber email addresses or reminder details from us.
When you click an affiliate link, the destination site (for example, mytapscore.com) may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. That happens on their site, not ours.
Every reminder email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, which stops emails and deletes your reminder schedule. You can also email support@tankandwell.com and we’ll delete everything we have about you.
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect data from children.
